Chocolate Probiotic Jelly

A yummy treat that's good for the gut!

This chocolate jelly is great for the lunch box or as an after school treat.

You can add probiotics to it to get some good healthy bacteria into your kids - excellent if they are or have been sick!

Ingredients and Method:

2 Tablespoons 100% Cocoa Powder
200mls coconut cream
2 Tablespoons Honey

Place these into a sauce pan and gently heat to combine. Remove from heat and allow to cool to 10-20 mins. Once cool.... add optional probiotic powder. I used 4 Bio Kult tablets, broken in. Mix.

In a seperate cup measure 1/2 cup of boiling water and sprinkle in 2 Tablespoons of Gelatin - I use Great Lakes brand. Stir quickly to dissolve gelatin.

Mix the gelatin into the chocolate and combine well. Pour into a silicon or other suitable dish, I used a 20cm square silicon container so they just pop out.

Allow to set in the fridge before slicing into squares for serving.
