  • Improved sleep and mental functioning
  • Improved digestion and hormone regulation
  • Overall your health will improve and you will decrease or reduce your risk of developing of chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, heart disease, obesity and cancer.
Please remember, everyone is different so results will vary. Nutrition is one part of the bigger health puzzle and you may also need to address other areas of your health.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1) This there a nutrition assessment before I start?

Yes, you will be emailed an online assessment that needs to be completed before you start the challenge

2) How much weight will I lose?

Everyone is different so therefore results vary. The 10 Week Challenge looks at making life-long healthy nutrition habits, this is NOT A TEMPORARY DIET. We typically see weight loss around 500 grams a week however some can lose over a KG a week. During the 10 Week Challenge you will also need to address other lifestyle factors such as sleep and stress - these play a huge role in successful weight loss.

3) Do I need a gym membership?

No – the exercise program can be done at home.

4) What's type of food is in the Meal Plans? Is this the Paleo Diet?

The food is basic real food, nothing complicated or too fancy. We are also budget and family conscious. Whilst the meal plans are strongly based around the principles of the Paleo diet, they are less restrictive. We aim for a lifestyle approach to food which means, we don't believe in super strict eating behaviour or counting calories. Plus there is always room for treats!!!

If you want to know more, check out a taste of the challenge.

5) I have a physical disability, can I still do the exercise component of the challenge?

Absolutely. The exercise program of the challenge can be scaled to your current fitness abilities. Exercise is more about the positive psychological benefits of movements, rather than doing it of weight loss.

But sometimes we find it hard to stop at one and what effect is this having on our body and health?

Anne's Story

I'm reversing my Diabetes, one day at a time!

Anne's Story
My Paleo journey started in January 2014. Before that I had tried for many years to lose weight and had tried different diets and been to several dieticians to no avail. In December 2013 I saw an orthopaedic surgeon about having a hip replacement. He told me very bluntly that he would not do the surgery because I was obese. My reply was, in that case I would never have the surgery because I had tried for many years to lose weight and it hadn't happened. He said that he would see me again in April 2014.

I love the slow cooker! If I could make everything in there I would - pop it on in the morning and it's ready when you get home. Too easy.

Pulled pork can be served in so many ways! My favourites are in lettuce cups with loads of yummy salad bits or with roast vegetables.

This recipe is Gluten free and Paleo friendly.

Chicken Liver Mousse

Finding it hard to get vegetables into your kids?

Chicken Liver Mousse

If your under 5 year olds are anything like mine, getting more than a couple of select vegetables into them is a challenge!

We are told that children must eat vegetables because they contain loads of vitamins and minerals but are vegetables really the most nutrient dense foods? Should we be concerned if our kids only eat, say sweet potato and carrot, like mine!?? What are they missing out on? What other foods are good sources of valuable nutrients?

Did you say PALEO Date Scones??

Now this you must try........

Did you say PALEO Date Scones??

I like creating my own muffin recipes and sometimes they don't work out the best. But these ones are pretty good, they are light and tasty like caramel. In fact, they taste a bit like a good date scone! And who doesn't like a good date scone - something I do miss from my non paleo days.

These muffins are Paleo friendly , gluten and dairy free, with only dates and banana to sweeten.
They are also a great breakfast or snack on the go.
